The last update was in June?! Anyways I don’t have much photos at the moment to update and I’ve been slacking off in taking pics as well, but Saber Alter (by ALTER) arrived and she’s BEAUTIFUL. So I might do an update on that. Recently I’ve been editing Xan’s photos for her and might as well show some before and after edits of it. C:
(slight repetition from my previous post)
If you follow me on my social media (mainly private Twitter though), you might have known that I fell deep into The Legend of Korra pit, even deeper into shipping Korra and Asami cause they’re just perfect together. I’ve actually even sketched a fanart of them, in the process of coloring it now, I’m a slow painter.
Yesterday, I visited the Apple Retailer here to kinda check out the Retina MacBooks since Continue reading
There aren’t that many new things I can post about.. so I’ve decided to compile photos of where I went (or pretty much what I ate) and make it into a daily life post thing. A little on the boring side? I think (ノдヽ)
Just yesterday I went to Penang to visit some graves but we were only there for a few short hours. So I only managed to stop by for one meal ahaha. Char Kuey Teow! Possibly my favorite dish in Penang but this store’s was just so-so. The weather was also pretty bad. Arrived with haze, left in a storm.
At night, my Razer keyboard stopped working so I had to rearrange everything. An hour later, I plugged it back in and it’s working now. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ But here’s the rearranged workspace for me. My Macbook Pro is dying and I’m in need of a new laptop (or most likely the Surface Pro 2)
Went to a Cafe called Le’ Medina Patisserie in the morning since I haven’t been there before.
No. 1 Jalan Stadium, 05100 Alor Setar+60 4-730 2120.
The interior seemed pretty nice. It’s relaxing and quite cozy.
What post is complete without pictures of food! LOL.
Meatball spaghetti – RM13.90, Burger set (I’m not too sure cause that’s what my friend ordered).
Caffe Latte – RM6.90
Overall it was a pretty decent cafe. Price is slightly higher for the food but the drinks are reasonably priced. Would definitely try their desserts next time!
Before going to Bangkok, I’ve mentioned in post 5 that I received the package from AmiAmi on the same day too. One of the items inside was my Nendoroid Petite x Mini 4WD Saber drives Super Saber Special (ねんどろいどぷち×みによんく せいばー どらいぶす すーぱーせいばー すぺしゃる) *phew really long name*
The box arrived and the instructions were pretty easy, but I had my brother help in assembling it. I only repainted it and put on the stickers lol.
Here is Saber when she’s not in her car. They included a sword to complete her Fate/Stay Night look. (about 65mm in height)
Also Saber next to her race car.
I didn’t have batteries at the moment for the car so I’ll just leave it like this for now. But someday I’ll try letting it go for a test run. I’m also kind of interested in getting Misaka’s (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun) version of the 4WD. Maybe someday!
PS. Sorry for the bad quality pictures ;; It’s late, I’m too lazy to use a DSLR so all these were taken on my Sony Xperia Z.
The day started with Romeo and I going Chatuchak weekend market (as my brother was dead asleep). We’ve decided on taking the MRT to the market. It was pretty convenient for us staying at Asoke area where there’s both the BTS and MRT. From Asoke, we took the MRT all the way to Kamphaeng Phet station. The moment we walked out, we were in the middle of the market!
The market was HUGE. I don’t think we’ve even explored a quarter of it before leaving. Clothes, food, souvenirs, probably anything you can think of, you can find at the market. I bought a t-shirt and a bag there, wish I could have shopped more hahaha.
and of course an obligatory food photo!!
They took time off their busy schedule to meet up ;; /touched. This was at Eukie’s restaurant, where I never knew the name actually LOL.
The photos of dessert and when we just got started hahaha. Ordered A LOT more after that.
The night of the dinner, we somehow ended up talking about the Husky Cafe which led to Cat Cafes too. I’m a cat person more than a dog person so I HAD to visit the cat cafe!! My friend linked me to one of the cafes called Purr Cat Cafe Club.

|Public Transit||BTS (Bangkok sky train) at Thonglor station – exit 1, walk along around 800 m.|
It was actually pretty easy to find. I probably died from the cuteness of the cats several times when I was in there. Also trying not to spam too many photos of cats in my post here!
Romeo and I named the cats after Game of Thrones characters too. It was really amusing.
We didn’t really want to leave the place but we had to meet up with another friend of mine at a place called Gateway Ekamai, a Japanese themed mall. Though slightly disappointing as most of the shops were closed, possibly like a dying mall. It had pretty nice food stalls though.
982/22 Sukhumvit Road Prakanong, Klongtoey, Bangkok 10110 Thailand
After leaving Ekamai, we went back to our hotel for awhile to rest before meeting up with another friend of mine, Vashi for dinner lol! We walked to Phrom Phong BTS station to meet up with him and walked to somewhere called Chiba Cham! A Japanese restaurant area.
I really liked the menu, they have giant sized stuff for a lot of the food and drinks LOL.
The chicken, wasn’t even the largest sized one yet X___X and we all ordered the giant sized drinks.
So that was the last night in Bangkok! Romeo had an early flight and my brother and I had an afternoon flight but had to leave earlier as the airport was quite a distance.
The blue skies in Malaysia when we were 10 mins away from landing. But it was actually raining in KL lol.
I’d probably go back to Bangkok again. So many more places to explore and I love the people, the food and the culture there. (of course, more cat cafe!!)
So I went to Bangkok, Thailand again as it’s my favorite place to go for a vacation! This time my brother tagged along (and we met up with a friend of my from the Philippines)
Of course, my main purpose of visiting Bangkok again is to meet my amazing friends. (and amazing food to be eaten). For the first night, we managed to meet up with Zea (Zeasonal) before she left for Laos! We went to this place called Jeffer Steak. My friend Romeo and I (and my brother) went crazy over the name Jeffer. *If you watched Catbug/Dramabug, you’ll understand the reference.
I had the pork and beef cutlets, which tasted amazing by the way. Not a Thai dish for the day but still it was really good.
I saw a sign saying “Jasmine City”, Jasmine is a good friend of mine so of course I’ll be taking a photo like this lol. (also thank you Zea for the bracelet >///<)
We went to Chinatown in the morning til afternoon, trying to look for Pirom Plaza but we failed so ended up chilling at Shanghai Mansion’s Coffee Bean. The lighting there was… good, thus the Mako photo. *For those who watches Kill la Kill, again, you’ll get the reference haha.
Later on, we just got on a TukTuk (something like a bike for 2-4 passengers, definitely a fun experience if you ever visit Thailand) and the guy insisted on bringing us to another temple, where we met a businessman whom insisted on us going to a place called Color Gems as it’s only open to the public for a week every year. It’s a place that sells rubies and sapphire and other jewels.
We finally gave up on looking for Pirom Plaza and went to another cafe before we had to meet up with my friends for dinner. We went to Au Bon Pain… because Romeo liked the fact the word “Pain” is there (He’s a masochist LOL). The Strawberry Yogurt was delicious by the way.
We met up with my friends at a mall near Asoke BTS called Terminal 21 and had dinner there. I don’t quite remember the name of the restaurant ;;
Thai cuisine! Too bad Romeo couldn’t enjoy it cause he has zero tolerance for spicy food. And the photo above, I really thought it was papaya milk, but it was actually milk tea!! The slices that looks like papaya, ice. It tasted amazing too.
The day isn’t complete until we get dessert! This was at Scoma’s. The decor really impressed me, especially the tables being made from old sewing machines! We ordered the melon cake and rose cake, both were great matched with Earl Grey tea.
Of course, the best thing at Terminal 21… THE TOILETS. I’m serious, they have a different theme on every floor, even a different theme on the east and west sides. I only managed to get pictures of two as they were closing. Sorry for the weird poses, we’re weird people.
We ended the night playing drinking card games ;3 Shall continue the other days in another post.
I don’t think I can describe how happy I was to be woken up earlier than usual by the mailman today (*≧▽≦)
Received two huge parcels (another from AmiAmi but that’s for another time) and of course I opened it immediately. My waifu finally arrived!!! It hasn’t been that long since I chose to get it shipped using EMS from Japan but I’m impatient anyways.
The figure is really beautiful (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡ I love how detailed everything was and it looked pretty much like in the game. After work, I set up a mini studio to do a shoot for her. Without further adieu, here are the pictures.
DSLR: Sony A330, edited in Photoshop CC.
I spent longer to adjust the poses than the actual shoot I think haha. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the articulation. It was really tight and I was worried I might break it if I used too much force, but if I don’t, the joints don’t even budge. Definitely not a figure for rough people though.
